The wrecks are starting to fire up with some nice catches of King Mackerel, Cobia, Mutton Snappers, Jacks, and even a few Groupers. The Sharks are still haunting our catch, but we managed to win the battle the majority of the time this week. The waters are starting to begin to cool off a bit, so this will help out the cause where these guys are concerned.
On the reef, the Yellowtail and Mangroves continue to cooperate with the right conditions. Don’t be afraid to move around until you find what you are looking for, just find current going in the right direction. This is the single most important part of setting up your chum slick, so move until you get it right. Pay attention to the tides, and you will save yourself a lot of money in the long run by not having to move more than you need to.
Well, that’s all for this week! Let me know if I can help out in any way, or if you are ready to get your charter reserved!
