Hello everyone, and welcome back to this week’s report! An exciting week here in paradise as the weather has been nice and the fish are chewing! The big news this week as been on the humps! Some really nice tunas this week as we have been live baiting the blackfin tunas with live pilchards! What a sight to see these incredible fish leaping out of the water, crashing on your freebies right behind the boat. All you wanted really up to 30 pounds, with an 15 pound average. Lots of fish in the 20 pound class, which are bruisers on 20 pound spinning tackle. More exciting news is the return of the Mahi’s! We are seeing more and more mahi every day, so it won’t be too much longer before we are in full swing. The sword ledge was so-so this week, but a few boats did manage a few fish in the 40-100 pound range. No real monsters this week, but we will check back again with you as we have a trip next week. The wreck fishing this week was a little on the slow side, but we did manage a few nice ones for the dinner table. I am expecting this to start ramping up very soon. The reef remains solid with an incredible yellowtail snapper bite as these guys are in spawning mode. Some really nice fish as well up to 5 pounds, so bring your “A” game once the chum starts flowing! A few sails around early in the week, but it really started tapering off as the week progressed. Still seems to be a decent bite above us, so I am hoping for one more push before its all over. Well, that is it for this week! Have a great weekend everyone!
