Hello everyone, and welcome back to this week’s report! What a horrendously windy week we have had here in the upper keys. The wind has been howling around 25 knots all week, but thankfully is coming down a little for the weekend. There have been a few boats out this week, but not too many. Out of the few who have, the fishing appeared to be decent with some sailfish, kings, and some bottom/ reef fish. There have even been a few really nice dolphin around with the heavy wind, so we will see it this is an indication of dolphin season coming early? It would be really nice to have that variety around right now for sure! It is really hard to move around when the wind is blowing out of the east to southeast that hard, so options become very limited. Very little ground gets covered, so we are only scratching the surface of what’s really out there. The bait has been decent all week despite the wind, so that made life a little easier. Looking forward to this wind dying out a bit, and to see what is going to bite this weekend. Next week looks pretty good weather wise, so check back with us next week for a full report!
