This offshore fishing for Tunas and what not was non- existent due to the conditions, but out to 450 feet or so we did manage a few “deep drops” for some tiles and snowy groupers which was quite successful. There really hasn’t been too much current out front of Islamorada, but the current up in Key Largo has been good. There have been a few Sails around earlier in the week, but it appears that the magical flood gates are opening to the North, so look for exciting Sailfishing reports from our area over the next few weeks. Some pretty stout numbers have been posted up between Miami and Palm beach, so we are patiently awaiting the arrival of the masses. Average days here have been 1-3 shots per day. The wrecks have been average to good with some Kings, Jacks, and Sharks. Some nice Muttons as well as some Vermillion Snappers on the deeper wrecks.
