Hello everyone, and welcome back to this week’s report! The weather has been a bit rough here this week to say the least, and the fishing has been decent, but pretty slow after the moon. The offshore scene has shown to yield a few nicer Dolphin, and a handful of Tunas. Nothing to write home about, but there have been some pretty nice Dolphin caught. Not too much on the Deep dropping or Swordfishing scene as the conditions have not been too favorable to fish for these guys. The Humps are holding some Jacks, Sharks, and smaller tunas. The reef and wrecks have really been the best of it this week. Some pretty nice Muttons and Groupers, and a few AJ’s and Almacos. Also a few nice Kings, but there hasn’t been any current inside of 400 feet all week, so as soon as this changes things should get back to normal. The Snappers on the reef have been biting pretty well, which has been nice. The water on the inside ledge has been pretty dusty and the wind has created a little movement in the water so it has been nice fishing for these guys minus the wind and waves. It appears as of now that the wind might come down a bit for late Saturday, and then decent on Sunday. One last exciting note: If you have never seen a Bluefin Tuna (estimated 800 pounds) eat a Pilchard on a kite then you are missing out! This happen to us today and it was incredible. It was a bit of a problem due to it ate a bait on 12 pound test, but what a sight to see!
