Hello everyone, and welcome back to this weeks report! What a beautiful week of weather we have had here for a change! The wind stopped blowing early in the week, and has stayed low since. Although, before we get too excited there is looking to be some wind in the weekend forecast as it look like it is going to blow again. The weather man is calling for 20 knots out of the East to southeast, so it’s going to get a little bumpy. That is fine in my boat, but if you have a smaller boat you might want to think about staying on the inside. If you have a bigger boat, then go get ‘em, because I will bet you they will be biting! Sails should be biting good after a few days of very low winds, and I am sure the wind starting to blow will get them plenty fired up! The fish have been very cooperative this week, so we have had a lot of fun with our clients. The offshore scene was active this weekend with some great deep dropping and the Swords seemed to be biting. The few guys I knew who did both were successful as the current was just perfect for both, not to mention the seas were like “Lake Atlantic”. The humps are still holding some smaller Tuna, AJ’s, and plenty of sharks as well. This has been a really fun week all the way around from way offshore to the patch reefs. Pretty much everything has been biting all week from Sails, Kings, Tunas, Muttons, Groupers, Wahoo, and Yellowtails! We have managed to catch all of the species just mentioned, so to say the least we have been eating good! I would look for the kite bite over the weekend for Sails, Tunas, and Kings to good. I am sure if you slow troll live Ballyhoo you will do just fine, but some Goggle Eyes on the kites will be my bait of choice. The reef bite should be really good, as well as the wrecks being just after this moon. We had a couple really big days on the Muttons this week, and I think they are gonna keep biting for a while longer. With the wind picking up, and the fact that we are just over this big moon, this should put us in just the right spot for some good fishing. We will have to see what sort of bait decides to hang around, but I a sure there will be some on all the patches. Going to have to wait and see what the wind actually does, but we still have a day or 2 until it gets here. Maybe we will get lucky! Well, that is it for this week, have a safe weekend everyone!
