Hello everyone, and welcome back to this week’s report! fishing has been nothing short of incredible this week, and if you are a true summertime fisherman and love Mahi then you are in for a treat! I don’t know for how long, but I can tell you that it is December, and today was all you wanted! Lots of Mahi tday, and after the first 15 we were happy, but after about the 30th bite, we were starting to get a little annoyed as they were eating all our Sailfish baits! I know, I know, what a terrible problem to have, but it was a lot of fun. This entire week has been a lot of fun, as the Sails are starting to show up better, and the fishery is becoming much more consistent to what we expect this time of year. Most everything is falling into place, but it finally beginning to come around! The wrecks and reef are still good, and the back side of this moon should be decent if the water temps stay consistent to what they are now. I am hoping for a cool front to help out our tournament fishing cause, but I must admit it has been nice to have a Mahi season that has lasted since last March…..crazy. Plenty of bati still around, and a lot of nice fish inside of 200′ of water. Pretty much everything you could ask for minus a Swordfish. If they would move in close we would have it made! Anything is possible I guess….The fishing is simply fantastic and is going to continually get better over the next couple months I am sure, so if you haven’t booked your trip yet please give me a call and do so. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!
